It’s all about intent

When my daughter Sydney was born in 2008 I said to myself, “By the time she’s in school I will have my own business.” And I did. I’ve had many, in fact, in the last decade. What I did not anticipate, was how hard, or how empowering the experience would prove to be. I didn’t know that I would move through a divorce, and become a single mom, or that I’d also have to part ways with several businesses and co-founders along the way. What I did know, was that I meant it.

Through it all, I have stubbornly and joyfully worn my heart on my sleeve, trusting that my intent and dedication would be enough. And through it all I’ve enjoyed the freedom of being able to show up for my daughter when and how I choose.

I’m passionate about holding space for founders as they build their careers and pursue their unique visions in the world. It can be a lonely journey, and I don’t believe we should have to walk it alone.

Impact Haven is my boutique creative agency based in Austin, TX. I lead a team of talented creatives from around the country. Our studio supports organizations and solopreneurs through launches and pivots, with branding, websites, and custom online training programs. We specialize in implementing custom online training programs and incubators/accelerators, we provide full-service support to build, launch, iterate, and then train teams to manage the program ongoing.

In between managing creative productions for clients, I curate my own creative endeavors. My first love is writing. I’ve fallen in love with podcast hosting and panel moderation as well. I am a mentor and champion for underrepresented founders. I actively participate as an official mentor for SXSW and other pitch competitions and startup programs.

From 2016-2021 I served as co-Founder and CEO of The Un.Inc, where I built and facilitated community-driven cohort experiences for underrepresented first-time founders.

I look forward to connecting,
